Timberland x Nina Chanel Abney Intarsia Cardigan in Beige

This cardigan is part of our collection to mark the 50th anniversary of our iconic boot from 1973. For this occasion, we’ve assembled a team of Future Makers to reimagine the bold look of Timberland through their own lens. Brooklyn-based contemporary artist Nina Chanel Abney brings a bold, distinctive capture of culture and politics to her designs. Each design starts with research followed by photos and ultimately hand-drawn artwork that is then transformed into graphics for knits or prints. In this instance, Chanel’s vision takes the form of a jacquard knitted pattern in a cotton/wool blend using multiple colours to create an outdoor-themed cardigan. Oversized corozo buttons further complement the design.
